به آگاهی می رساند، نیروهای نظامی ایران اخیراً برای سرکوبی تظاهرکنندگان خیابانی، اقدام به استفاده از گازهای شیمیایی با اثرات بلندمدت کرده اند. برخی شرکت کنندگان تظاهرات مسالمت آمیز دو هفته ی اخیر در شهرهای مختلف ایران که در معرض گلوله های محتوی گاز، شلیک شده از سوی ماموران ضدشورش حکومتی، قرار گرفته اند، با علائمی مانند سردرد، سرگیجه، تهوع، استفراغ خونی به کلینیک ها مراجعه کرده اند. تکثر ابراز این علائم در افراد مختلف و بررسی نمونه های خونی این افراد توسط پزشکان ایران منجر به آشکار شدن این حقیقت دردناک شده است که نظامیان سرکوب گر با استفاده از گازهای شیمیایی غیرمتعارف در مقابله با تظاهرات خیابانی، تصمیم دارند با ایجاد اثرات بلندمدت و غیرقابل درمان و بعضاً قابل وراثت، سرکوب مردم معترض ایران را به شیوه ای تازه انجام دهد.
گروه های دانشجویی و فعالین اجتمایی امضا کننده ضمن دعوت به مطالعه ی نامه ی صادره از سوی انجمن پزشکان ایران خطاب به جناب آقای بان کی مون ریاست سازمان ملل متحد که به پیوست این نامه فرستاده شده است، از آن گروه محترم تقاضا دارد کمیته ای مستقل برای بررسی این موضوع تشکیل داده و ضمن معاینه ی آسیب دیدگان با همکاری و معرفی پزشکان ایرانی و بدون فشار مقامات حکومتی ایران نتایج بررسی خود را طی گزارشی رسمی و علنی به اطلاع مراجع بین المللی و افکار عمومی برسانند.

Medicine san Frontier,
We are writing to inform you that in light of the recent protests in Iran, Iranian security forces have initiated use of chemical gases with long term effects. In the past three weeks, peaceful protestors in various Iranian cities have been shot by gassed bullets and have reported to medical centers with symptoms including headache, dizziness, nausea, and bloody vomit. The proliferation of such symptoms in many people and the examination of blood samples by Iranian doctors have led to the painful discovery of the use of unknown, incurable, and at times contagious chemical gases by the Iranian regime, in the repression of protesters.
We, the undersigned student and activist organisations, respectfully invite you to study the published statement by the Iranian Doctors Association addressed to UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, in this regard. The statement is attached to this letter. We also respectfully request MSF to form an independent committee to investigate this matter for three important purposes: first, to examine the said victims in collaboration with Iranian doctors and without the pressures of Iranian government and security officials; second, to publish their findings in an official and public report addressing the international community; and finally, to publish basic means of prevention and relief from the symptoms of the gasses using minimum homemade materials for the Iranian public.
